“I believe all families should have access to holistic care that meets them where they are and reminds them in the way they are seen and served that they are loved.” — Miss Megan
It began with a dream…
Megan first discovered occupational therapy when she was twelve years old. Her father was in a bicycle accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and months of treatment at Craig Hospital in Colorado. It was there that Megan witnessed the power of loving, holistic care aimed at empowering people to live to their fullest potential through occupational therapy. One night, she had a dream that she would one day join the ranks of OTs—the rest is history!
As a big believer in dreams, Megan has chased this dream of becoming an OT across the globe. She has studied in universities in Kansas, Boston, and Edinburgh (UK), and been mentored in practices in California, Colorado, and Kansas. In every place, she has unabashedly shared her passion for baking, caring for others, and dedication to Jesus Christ.
After a year working in Wichita as a pediatric occupational therapist, Megan received a clear call from her Lord to open an occupational therapy practice in her home community of Hutchinson, KS. She founded Clothed in Compassion, Corp. to fill a healthcare gap in Reno County by providing accessible, specialized care that meets families where they are—regardless of financial circumstances or ability.
Dr. Megan Bartley is an occupational therapist (OTD, OTR/L) with a feeding certification (AEIOU – an integrated approach to pediatric feeding). She specializes in caring for and empowering kids, young people, and families living with a variety of ability needs, including autism and ADHD. Clothed in Compassion is registered 501(c)(3) organization and a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
