Meet the Board

Meet our Staff

Clothed in Compassion wouldn’t work without such dedicated staff. You’ll find us answering phone calls, restocking art supplies, and hanging out with you and your kiddos at our office and community events.

Chelsea Ratzlaff, DPT

Chelsea Ratzlaff is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She has dedicated most of her career to pediatrics and is thrilled to serve children and families through Clothed in Compassion!

Learn More about Chelsea

Chelsea graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 2013. Over the years, she has gained pediatric experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient/acute care, pediatric ICU, NICU/special care nursery, and the school system. She is passionate about providing kind, compassionate care that celebrates children as the precious creations they are. Chelsea approaches therapy with intentionality, focusing not only on helping her patients grow, but also supporting their caregivers, especially fellow moms, to feel seen and encouraged.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys coffee (a lot!), singing on her church worship team, baking with sourdough, and caring for her 50+ houseplants. She loves thrifted finds, the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and goats! She’s also a proud boy mom of four and currently serves as a substitute teacher for Buhler Schools.

Chelsea is excited to connect with the kiddos of Clothed in Compassion and help them build strength, confidence, and joy in movement!

Maggie Woodward, SLP-CCC

Maggie Woodward received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Fort Hays University. Her goal with Clothed in Compassion is to create a fun and interactive space for children to work on their speech and language needs.

Learn More about Maggie

Maggie has provided speech therapy in a variety of settings including inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility, and school-based. At Clothed in Compassion, she incorporates play-based activities that are motivating and exciting and build a relationship with the child. Maggie enjoys treating both articulation and language disorders. She encourages parents to be part of the therapy session to promote carryover of skills at home.

Maggie lives in Hutchinson with her two dogs, Tucker (a WestiePoo) and Mocha, who is missing one of her front legs and is affectionately called a tri-pawd. She finds comfort in labeling and organizing when she feels stressed.

Her therapy motto: “Forward is forward, no matter the pace.”

Destinee Archer, Administrative Assistant

Destinee graduated from Colby Community College in 2018 with her nursing degree and worked through May 2022 as a charge nurse for a skilled rehab facility, until her son needed her to be at home with him. She believes that every child should be loved and have as much help excelling in their goals as possible.

Learn More about Destinee

Though she doesn’t have a lot of pediatric experience, Destinee has plenty of experience in being an advocate for her son! Clothed in Compassion has changed her son’s life for the better—without them, they wouldn’t be where they are today! She is very excited to help other families and the community through this amazing corporation. What Megan and the team do is truly a blessing to so many.

Destinee loves to garden and is very into homesteading, self-preservation, reading, raising beef and chickens, and being a mom. She loves all things sourdough—her sourdough starter is a “baby” of a starter from the Great Depression.

Leah Nickel, Custodial Manager

Leah is a momma who loves Jesus and baking. She cares deeply for those around her. She is passionate about teaching kids about Jesus and how to use their imaginations to create beautiful things. “The world is a better place when we teach children how to thrive where they are.”
